Brief Overview: Pacific Community Ventures takes a four-fold approach to creating economic opportunity in lower-income communities by providing direct engagement to help entrepreneurs on-the-ground, while also providing in-depth research and analysis to influence public policy. The ecosystem of tactical expertise and strategic insight catalyzes economic prosperity in lower-income communities. PCV is one of the first organizations to fully integrate pre-loan technical assistance, debt capital and post-funding business advising through Small Business Advising Integrated Lending Fund (SAIL Fund). Similarly, Pacific Community Management, PCV’s affiliated double bottom line investment funds, provides equity investments and hands-on guidance to high-growth California businesses. PCV Business Advising program recruits California’s brightest business minds to volunteer their expertise to help promising small businesses grow and create jobs in lower-income communities. With the recent launch of Online Business Advising, PCV will make high-quality, industry and discipline-specific support available to entrepreneurs across the country. InSight is one of the preeminent independent evaluators of non-financial performance outputs providing impact evaluation services to some of the most prominent investment and philanthropic institutions in the US. InSight also conducts policy research in the areas of impact investing and small business needs to drive capital and resources to underserved communities.
